John is a native to the San Francisco Bay Area. He attended Burlingame High School, then San Francisco State University to pursue his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He has 30 years of experience in the optical industry, having taken over his family's business, Glitter Optics, in downtown Union Square.
Amanda N.Optometric Technician
Amanda was born and raised in Berkeley, California. She is a proud graduate of Salesian High School and San Francisco State University where she focused her studies in Health Science with a concentration in Health Education. Amanda has worked in the hospitality industry as a manager of a med spa. Currently she is an optometric technician and assists with the management of the front staff at Lunettes Optometric.
Exercise and fitness are highly important to her. She appreciates an active lifestyle and likes to keep busy. You will often find her at music festivals and various beer tastings.
Teresa A.Optometric Technician
Teresa is a proud Bay Area native. Early in life she knew that she wanted a profession where she could be active in the community as well as give back whenever possible. Coupled with her love of sports, she co-founded Ballers Philanthropy, where they host charitable events for professional athletes. Teresa is a graduate of Texas Southern University and has a degree in Sports Management. During off-seasons Teresa works in other charitable events and is now appreciating a profession in healthcare where she can service patients.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys testing out new recipes to share with her friends and family. As a foodie, she loves trying out some of the newest restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will often hear her singing around the office to some of the greatest R&B hits of the 90’s.

Jose G.ABOC-Licensed Optician
Jose first moved to the Bay Area in 2014 from Fresno, California, and began his eye care career as a receptionist at an optometry office in San Francisco. He became enamored with the art, science, and style of optical work, and worked hard to expand his skills and knowledge. Four years later he became an optician. Jose is currently furthering his career by attending CCSF and earning his degree in Business Administration. In his free time, Jose enjoys attending festivals, exploring the Bay Area, and hiking. Over the last few years, he has explored cooking as a hobby.
